The Digital Greener Shipping Summit 2020 will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Now in its tenth year, the annual Summit is organised by Newsfront / Naftiliaki under the auspices of Greece’s powerful technical body, MARTECMA [the Greek Marine Technical Managers Association].

As with all events in this programme, Newsfront / Naftiliaki has worked with MARTECMA, in preparing this year’s Summit which will have the general title: "Greener Shipping Summit 2020: What is the Future of Greek Shipping”. 

Technical items to be looked at include:

•  Short term measures

•  Developments on alternative fuels

•  Carbon capture technologies

•  Traditional and new repair methods

The Owners’ voice will look at:
•  The changes in ship management during the last decades and what maybe in the future
•  Pros and cons of Greek shipping and of its competitors
•  Synergies, cooperation and mergers in shipping
•  The challenge of environmental regulations
